Job: Full-Time
Location: Woburn, MA
*Pay: $30.00 Hourly

We are currently seeking a skilled Solar Site Surveyor / Solar Service Technician to join our growing team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct solar site surveys to assess the suitability of a location for solar installation, considering factors such as roof structure, shading, and other environmental conditions.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed site assessment reports and project documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on solar installations, ensuring system functionality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve solar system issues, including diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical components, wiring, and inverters.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and installation teams to provide technical support and ensure project success.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, best practices, and relevant regulations, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Educate customers on solar energy systems, maintenance requirements, and performance expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school, vocational training, or an associate degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of solar system design, installation, and maintenance principles.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel to various job sites is required.

Competitive compensation - Based on Experience

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:
